Students build upon the reporting and writing skills developed in level 1 as they learn to prepare feature articles of a standard suitable for publication. The subject uses news writing as a base from which to develop higher level skills of research and analysis, including as necessary statistical research, dealing with a diverse range of opinions, anecdotes, other published material and/or the reporters own impressions, on the way to creating entertaining and informative feature articles.
