This subject is designed for those who have either completed Intermediate Japanese at JCU or have reached a similar level of proficiency through studying Japanese elsewhere. It deals with authentic Japanese material both in a printed and electronic form, such as TV dramas, documentaries, magazine and newspaper articles etc.
Learning Outcomes
- to equip students with the skills necessary to comprehend to a fair degree of detail the content of films, TV dramas, simple news stories and magazine articles; summarise such, both in speech and in writing; satisfy routine requirements of everyday social situations.
