Completion of ED5814 as part of the Graduate Diploma in Education will allow students to gain advanced standing in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104). This certificate, together with a completed teaching qualification provides the necessary prerequisites to teach Vocational Education and Training subjects in schools. Information about advanced standing arrangements for the Certificate IV course are provided in the first lecture in the subject. Students will critically examine the role of vocational education and training in senior secondary schooling. Students will review key frameworks associated with vocational education and training. NOTE: This subject requires students to have access to the World Wide Web for participation in the on-line component of this subject.
