Available to students qualifying for entry into MSc(App) in Mining and Exploration Geology.
This is an 8-day course in state-of-the-art field-based training. The course will emphasise the integration of structural, paragenetic, textural, geochemical and geophysical techniques in unravelling patterns of fluid flow, alteration and mineralisation. The course will be based in the Mt Isa Block.
Learning Outcomes
- to develop advanced field geological skills not available through undergraduate program or offered commercially elsewhere.
