| Credit points: | 03 |
| Year: | 2007 |
| Student Contribution Band: | Band 2 |
| Administered by: | Discipline of Civil & Environmental Engineering |
Design generally three projects covering hydraulic engineering, structural engineering and systems/environmental/transportation/geotechnical engineering. Where possible, these will be treated in an integrated way. In this subject, the designs will be more open-ended and oriented towards overall projects compared with earlier design subjects.
Learning Outcomes
- appreciate the holistic and interdisciplinary nature of civil engineering;
- develop skills in the reporting of design investigations;
- develop skills relating to design in the areas of hydraulic, structural, and systems/ transportation/environmental/geotechnical engineering.
