This subject will develop and extend student knowledge in the area of plant propagation and revegetation with special emphasis on pasture ecology, agronomy and management in tropical ecosystems.
Learning Outcomes
- to address issues in plant selection, introduction and cultivar development;
- to gain an understanding of the theory and practice of plant propagation with special relevance to tropical pastures;
- to identify the impact of grazing animals and other environmental variables on pastoral production.
