This subject introduces management theory and skills as they pertain to public health. Topics include: systems theory, objectives in management, project management, risk analysis, strategic analysis, quality improvement and management control systems. Team work and conflict management skills will be improved through experiential learning.
Learning Outcomes

- apply project management techniques to improve project outcomes;
- understand the basic principles of management theory;
- use management techniques in health care settings;
