This subject will develop the skills of the student to deal with more complex psychological and behavioural disorders. Topics will include the role of psychologists in rehabilitation programs to assist clients to deal with chronic physical and behavioural disorders, as well as the basic elements of interventions for groups and relationships.
Learning Outcomes
- basic skills in methods of treating interpersonal issues in relationships;
- basic skills in the principles and methods used in group therapy;
- familiarity with principles of rehabilitation of physical and behavioural disorders;
- increased skills in addressing the process of adaptation to physical problems using psychological methods.
