Students must be enrolled in the Master of Advanced Nursing Practice or the Master of Midwifery
In this subject students are offered the opportunity to conduct a project of relevance to their clinical specialty in nursing. The aim of this project is to contribute to addressing identified practice issues. The project should be original and clinically orientated, and requires the integration of knowledge from clinical and theoretical subjects as well as the students clinical experience.
Learning Outcomes
- apply evidence-based nursing research skills to the evaluation of project outcomes;
- demonstrate the ability to design a project that addresses an identified clinical problem related to specialist nursing care in the current health context;
- demonstrate the ability to present the project as a clearly formulated report of publishable standard;
- further develop their research, critical reflective and analytical skills;
- implement a clinically-focussed project.
