Clinical placement offers opportunities for supervised clinical learning and experience specifically designed for international pre-registration nursing students. The focus of this clinical placement subject is an opportunity to apply skills and theoretical nursing knowledge to practice, in an Australian nursing context. Placements will be undertaken in a variety of hospital and community-based settings. The student will work in a preceptor facilitator/educator relationship with an experienced registered nurse for all components of the clinical placement.Skills learnt in theoretical nursing subjects will be developed and practised in the clinical arena.
