This subject builds on news-gathering skills learnt in level 1 and applies them specifically to the print media. Students will be expected to establish and maintain a network of personal news sources and contacts during the semester. They will be allocated news rounds from which they will be expected to produce regular news stories. Where appropriate these stories will be submitted for publication in the relevant print media.
