The subject introduces students to copy-tasting, subeditorial and print production aspects of daily newspaper journalism.

- evaluate the news worthiness of news copy;
- layout copy and illustrations electronically on broadsheet and tabloid pages as directed;
- subedit news copy electronically;
- write headlines as directed.
