Part 1 of 4. A significant review or synthesis of an important issue relating to Indigenous research approved by the Head of School. The research will take the form of a substantial thesis of approximately 25 000 words. Skills of analysis and synthesis and appropriate theoretical and methodological application are expected of the order appropriate to a Masters Thesis. A thesis is normally supervised by an academic staff member of the School and joint supervision with other schools is encouraged.
Learning Outcomes
- develop a research project proposal demonstrating in a disciplinary area of Indigenous research with the scholarly expectations of a higher degree;
- commence a literature review and / or fieldwork relevant to your research project.
