Available to students who qualify for entry to the honours program in any two disciplines.
Joint Honours level supervision in the research, drafting and final editing of a thesis of 12-15,000 words employing graduate knowledge of any two disciplines in the Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences.
Learning Outcomes
- clarity of concept and originality of research project;
- understanding of and engagement with theories relevant to the topic, both contemporary and traditional;
- command of monograph-style organisation, including an introduction, chapter division and conclusion which demonstrate clarity and coherence of argument;
- technical correctness of writing, scholarly apparatus and bibliographical data.

- The ability to select and organise information and to communicate it accurately, cogently, coherently, creatively and ethically;
- The acquisition of coherent and disciplined sets of skills, knowledge, values and professional ethics from at least one discipline area;
