Available, at the discretion of the Head of College, to all students with a BCommunication Design or equivalent qualification undertaking the honours practice degree. Except with the approval of the Head of School/Associate Dean, all subjects in a chain must be studied in consecutive teaching periods.

This subject is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of practice-based research and to enable them to further develop a highly focussed perception and advanced technical mastery within graphic design or illustration resulting in a body of work for exhibition and critical review.Learning objectives as for GA4021.

Prerequisites:	GA4122Distinction level in practice-based communication design subject and credit level in research-based communication design subject and permission of Head of College
Inadmissible Subject Combinations:	GA4011 and GA4021

Availabilities
As this subject is part of a subject chain, a final standard grade (e.g. P, C) will only be recorded for each subject after successful completion of all parts of the subject chain.
