Isoparametric concepts and numerical integration. An introduction to FE codes. An introduction to benchmarks in FE.
Learning Outcomes
- To introduce the fundamental concepts of the finite element method with applications to engineering problems;
- To supplement fundamental concepts with the use of a finite element code and verify the coded results gainst benchmarks.
