This subject takes as its particular focus the construction of integrated early childhood curriculum through links with theory and the EC educators skills in critically reflective practice. Students will be engaged in the building, analysis and critique of models of integration in early childhood curriculum and the consideration of issues that impact on curriculum delivery in the classroom context. Throughout subject activities, students will be expected to draw extensively upon school and/or centre based professional experiences and to explore the dialectic relationship between theory and practice.
