This subject uses a situated learning approach to move from practice to theory in introducing students to key concepts of effective learning and teaching, including lesson planning, classroom management and the use of information technologies in education settings. Students are required to undertake 25 allocated days of professional experience in educational settings to establish praxis as a way of knowing.
