An exposition of the theory of international trade, the theory and practice of commercial policy and the theory of open-economy macroeconomics and its relation to regional development.

Learning Outcomes

• be able to apply this theory to a critical evaluation of policy debates;
• be able to evaluate the usefulness and limitations of international economics theory;
• have a knowledge of international trade.
