This subject is the first half of a minor project in Computer Science/Information Technology to be carried out under the supervision of one or more staff members. This first half of the project will require a survey of relevant literature, an analysis of the problem to be solved and a high level design feasibility analysis. An account of the work done must be submitted as an interim project report and presented as a seminar.

Learning Outcomes

• apply principles and methods of scientific thinking to a critical review and assessment of relevant literature;
• formulate a problem and relate it to the literature review of (1);
• perform high level design feasibility analysis;
• present the results of (1) and (2) in a written form and in a seminar.
