Available to level 4 Bachelor of Applied Science (Aquaculture) students who have satisfactorily fulfilled the requirements for entry into the Aquaculture Honours program. Except with the approval of the Head of School/Associate Dean, all subjects in a chain must be studied in consecutive teaching periods.
Individual research projects on aquaculture-related topics with the student supervised by one or two academic staff members.
Learning Outcomes
- ability to interact effectively with a research supervisor, other researchers and technical staff;
- ability to plan and execute a research project;
- ability to present a seminar on a research project;
- competence in scientific writing.
