A graduate-level approach to experimental and survey design and analysis. Topics include the principles of ecological and biological sampling design; hypothesis generation for ecological and biological experiments; collection of biological and ecological data; manipulations and interpretation of biological and ecological data; statistical methods used in biology and ecology; and the production of biological and ecological reports.Students will normally be required to attend BS2001 (Townsville), BZ2400 (Cairns) lectures and tutorials.
