This subject examines how the organisational context frames child protection practice. It focuses on developing students' knowledge and skills for working effectively in the legal and political domains of child protection, along with case planning and management, interagency collaboration and professional communication. Students will learn how to work effectively with others in seeking common outcomes through applying a range of communication and conflict resolution skills. Assessment is framed around applying knowledge and skills to practice.
Learning Outcomes

- develop skills in teamwork, interagency approaches, professional communication and conflict resolution.
