This subject will encompass a study of spatial relationships, composition and media handling skills with emphasis on life drawing.

Learning Outcomes

• be competent in the manipulation of a variety of different media;
• have a working knowledge of the various historical/contemporary methods of representing two-dimensional space;
• have the necessary technical skills to represent human form from specific objective/view points;
• understand and develop a range of mark making procedures.

Rolls are kept and work submitted by students with an attendance of less than 80% will not be eligible for assessment unless prior approval has been obtained in writing from the lecturer.
