This subject examines many areas associated with "backstage" theatre. Students learn the hierarchical structure of a typical Theatre Company, the roles of those concerned, the essential skills associated with sound, lighting, set and stage management.
Learning Outcomes
- to develop skills aimed at a more professional approach to the staging of theatre in an educational situation;
- to enable students to develop technical knowledge necessary for the production of theatre.
