This subject is concerned with the actors basic training and the establishment of the inner technique. Key competencies that are developed to build this technique include relaxation, attention, concentration, magic if, sense memory, memory of physical action, fantasy and imagination. This subject also provides students with the fundamental skills of acting and responding, beginning and developing improvisation, concentration and spontaneity, non verbal and verbal improvisation, building a character in improvisation and building a performance from improvisation.
