This subject provides the student with the opportunity to design and develop a project (policy, teaching package, risk management or quality improvement project, evidence-based research project) which can be used to improve patient care and explore an in-depth area of interest within a chosen specialty. The students learning is thus extended and applied to addressing nursing problems related to a clinical setting. The topic for the major assignment is negotiated with the subject coordinator. The project should be original and clinically focused and related to the students work setting.
Learning Outcomes
