This subject provides students with an overview of the various management dimensions of operations, such as operations strategy, product planning and process design, capacity planning, quality management, cost management in both labour- and capital-intensive organisational units, detailed scheduling, inventory management in independent and dependent demand environments, supply-chain-management and enterprise-resource-planning, in both manufacturing and service environments.
