This subject will examine the structure and function of the skin, including skin disorders in children and adolescents, manifestations of serious illness, solar effects and malignancies of the skin, tropical disease and the skin and common skin disorders and the general practitioner.

    Special Assessment Requirements:This subject is assessed within an integrated assessment program for all Year 3 subjects. The assessment as detailed below, is the integrated assessment schedule for all Level 3 subjects. Attendance at clinical placements is mandatory and completion to a satisfactory level is required.
