Available as part of the Honours program to level 4 LLB and combined LLB students with a GPA of at least 5, who do not anticipate applying for an Australian Postgraduate Award. Students not enrolled in the Honours program may be admitted to this subject at the discretion of the Head of School.

Honours candidates must enrol in this subject or in LA4046, in either Semester 1 or 2 of their final year. Students will be required to submit a substantial piece of research at the end of the relevant semester. The length of the dissertation is 9,000-10,000 words. Students should refer to the Law Honours Rules available from the Law School Office and consult the Honours Coordinator.
