Available to level 4 LLB students.
Students will be provided with a broad overview of the basic principles, institutions and language of international law and its interaction with international politics and economics. Each semester students will be taught a core syllabus and a selection from the more specialised topic list. To encourage students to critically assess the international legal implications of current events and Australian foreign policy, the case studies and examples given to demonstrate the application of international law will be focussed on the Pacific and the Southeast Asian region.
