The subject will examine the legal controls, common law and legislation and international conventions that are available to maintain and improve the environment in Australia and in particular in Queensland.
Learning Outcomes
- to provide a knowledge of policy, law and environmental regulation in Australia;
- to provide an ability to critically analyse environmental problems, the policy and the relevant law;
- to provide a working knowledge of environmental law in Queensland and the Commonwealth.
