Public relations theory will be examined in detail. Emphasis will also be placed on process and application, including research and evaluation, strategy, planning and scheduling and tactics. Students may also undertake minor practical assignments within the community if appropriate.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrate a basic understanding of qualitative, quantitative, formative and evaluative research as they apply to the practice of public relations;
- exhibit a general familiarity with strategic, tactical, planning and scheduling processes and applications in public relations practice.
