This is a practical subject that builds on the knowledge of information-gathering techniques developed in IA1001. Students analyse reports on such matters as local, state and national politics; science and technology; education; health and issues relating to the arts, using both traditional sources and the Internet. The art of questioning interviewees is an integral part of the subject.
