Available only to BCommunication Design students.
Particular emphasis will be given to developing awareness of professional and industrial requirements and to job seeking and proficiency in freelancing skills. To this end, students will learn how to utilise communications technologies more efficiently, whilst developing interpersonal skills relevant to private design. This work will form the centrepiece of the students contribution to the graduate exhibition, as well as several key folio pieces. Emphasis will be given to the development of an analytical approach to the creative visual process, building upon the students pre-established foundation level understanding of core illustration activities. Studies will include: introduction to page layout applications; analytical studies of digital imagery; professional presentation.

Special Assessment Requirements: | In order to establish the authenticity of work submitted for assessment, attendance at practical classes is compulsory. Rolls are kept and work submitted by students with an attendance of less than 80% will not be eligible for assessment unless prior approval has been obtained in writing from the lecturer. |
