The subject will study the concepts of environmental law and policy and their application to the use, management and conservation of natural resources with particular emphasis on pollution control, land degradation, mining, ocean and coastal management, environmental planning, environmental and social impact statements, environmental audits, sustainable development, heritage, aboriginal traditional rights, national parks and wildlife conservation. A study will be made of relevant state, federal and international laws.
