Available to students enrolled in the Graduate Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching.

This subject is part of the developmental curriculum for professional experience within the Graduate Bachelor of Education program. Students will complete five days of professional orientation which may include engaging in group visits to education settings and seminars with education leaders. In addition, students will be allocated a school and attend for 25 allocated days, completing a range of activities to develop an understanding of the complexities of teachers roles and the changes that occur over the school semester. As a culminating experience, students will plan, teach and evaluate a full-time three week continuous block of teaching. In addition, students will develop an understanding of the important link between the work of educators and a range of community services (50 hours).
