The theory and practice of accounting for the formation, operations and winding-up of companies and the disclosure of information in financial reports.

Learning Outcomes

• Understand and prepare accounts for business combinations and reorganisations;
• Understand and prepare accounts for liquidations and receiverships;
• Understand disclosure requirements for the preparation of company reports;
• Prepare tax effect accounting;
• Prepare group accounts.
