Various aspects of women's involvement in cinema,including acting, directing and producing in Australia, the US and Britain.
Learning Outcomes
- to consider whether radically new constitutions of femininity on screen are possible;
- to develop an awareness of filmic techniques for transmitting meaning;
- to develop skills in analysing womens' screen and production roles in terms of feminist theory while paying due attention to filmic techniques.
