Learning Outcomes
- to develop competence in basic research techniques and research communication;
- to develop student skills in searching scientific literature, critical reading, writing and seminar presentation with emphasis on topics relevant to tropical agriculture;
- to introduce students to techniques used in studies of plant and animal production with special relevance to the tropics;
- to provide training in the design of experiments and field trials in agriculture and in the analysis of results.
