This subject consists of two compulsory field trips, during the lecture recesses in Semester 1 and 2, visiting private and commercial properties and government research stations to the north (Semester 1) and to the south (Semester 2) of Townsville.
Learning Outcomes
- to establish skills in note-taking and observation and in collation of material and report writing;
- to introduce students to practical aspects of primary production in a variety of industries and environments in Northern Queensland.
