Students will gain and develop the academic knowledge and abilities to be able to actively and effectively participate within an array of academic contexts both on personal and University levels.
Learning Outcomes
- examine and utilise personal study methods and a preferred learning style to enhance effectiveness within the academic context;
- develop academic note-taking, reading, listening, speaking, writing and research skills;
- locate information via the library search and internet usuage;
- utilise computer skills for academic presentations;
- reference correctly as per academic conventions.
