This subject provides students with an opportunity both to deepen their understandings of theoretical issues and research methodologies in cultural heritage studies and to broaden their familiarity with the social sciences. Admission is available on a part-time basis to students who have satisfied the requirements of the school regarding the standard of academic achievement necessary to proceed to the honours degree. Students enrolling in AY4005 will also enrol in AY4004 Cultural Heritage Studies Part Time Honours A in order to complete the degree. The curriculum comprises a cultural heritage studies seminar (weekly during Semester 1); a multi-disciplinary seminar (fortnightly during Semesters 1 and 2).
