This subject provides students with an opportunity both to deepen their understandings of theoretical issues and research methodologies in anthropology and to broaden their familiarity with the social sciences. Admission is available on a part-time basis to students who have satisfied the requirements of the school regarding the standard of academic achievement necessary to proceed to the honours degree. Students enrolling in AN4005 will also enrol in AN4004 Anthropology Part Time Honours A in order to complete the degree. The curriculum comprises an anthropology seminar (weekly during Semester 1); a multi-disciplinary seminar (fortnightly during Semesters 1 and 2).
