The concept and process of social research, social research designs and methods most useful for research in social welfare and human services.

Learning Objectives:

understanding of, and ability to implement qualitative and quantitative research designs;

ability to critique social research;

ability to produce competent research reports and proposals.

Assessment by written assignments (100%).
