Staff:

Any academic member of the Centre for Women's Studies.

A program of reading, guided study, assessment and consultation relating to a specific area of inquiry in women's studies. The program of study is designed between a nominated supervisor and the student and approved by the faculty.

Learning Objectives:

to pursue an area of study of their own choosing in order to develop knowledge in a particular area of women's studies;

to demonstrate mastery in the area chosen for study.

Assessment is designated by a nominated supervisor and is normally equivalent to a 5000 - 6000 word essay or literature review.
