Construction and Presentation Techniques
[Non-Bachelor of Visual Arts students wishing to undertake this subject should seek approval from the Associate Dean for the College of Music, Visual Arts and Theatre or the head of Visual Arts]

Traditional and contemporary approaches to Fine Art presentation and associated construction techniques will be explored. Students will undertake workshops in: safety awareness; the construction of easels or plinths; basic tool making; construction of folders and boxes for the storage, transport and/or display of works on paper; construction of painting stretchers and framing of canvases; matt cutting and framing of works under perspex, as well as alternative presentation techniques for works on paper.
