Introduction to Film and Television Production

30 hours practicals. Semester 2 and block mode (June-August).

Available to BT students only.

Students will develop an understanding of the terminologies and applications used in the Australian television and film industries. They develop the skills required in various areas of film and television production and the principles and techniques behind scripting, shooting, editing, directing and producing a video production.

Learning Objectives:

to enable students to identify, employ and obtain mastery of fundamental skills necessary to professional practice.

Assessment by quizzes/tests (25%); tutorial attendance and participation (25%); assignments (50%).
