100 hours practicals. Semester 2.

Available to level 2 BT students only.

This subject has two components:

Voice: five key elements of vocal fitness, accents and dialects, sightreading.

Movement: unarmed and armed stage combat technique and its application to theatre performance.

Learning Objectives:

to enable students to develop, employ and obtain mastery of core skills in the discipline.

Assessment by presentations (80%); tutorial participation (12.5%); creative journal (7.5%).
