This subject provides the students with the fundamental requirements of acting for the screen. In addition students will undertake an acting module of up to 120 hours delivered in practical workshops. Students select appropriate modules from contemporary texts in performance. In a studio performance students expand their knowledge on acting styles, on multifaceted character, character/sign and on the layering of text, as well as rehearsal management and the associated disciplines for public performance.
